Job Description

Diamond Kennels Resort and Spa is a premier, luxury pet resort in Lewisburg, Ohio which offers boarding, doggie day camp, and grooming 7 days a week. We are looking for an individual who loves animals, creating relationships and personable experiences for clients, and who works well with others. We are looking for someone with a positive and uplifting attitude, who is a problem solver, exceptional communicator, and who loves to bring new, creative ideas to the table. This position will be a front of the house position, focused on client communication and relationships. Along with this you must be comfortable and confident around animals, as you will have certain duties pertaining to the pets. The ability to handle large dogs on a leash, move quickly throughout our large facility, and up and down stairs is required. A brief overview of the responsibilities of this position are: Creating reservations for boarding, grooming, and day camp either in person, over the phone, or email. Contacting clients to answer any questions/concerns, staying up to date on feeding and health concerns of our pets and communicating with clients/vets when necessary. Contacting vet clinics for updated pet vaccination records. Checking in pets for their stay, obtaining all accurate information that we will need for the pets stay. Checking out pets, creating accurate invoices, and taking payment. We are looking for these qualifications: Pet Lover Time Management Communicator Team-oriented Positive Attitude Customer Service Experience Computer Skills Phone Etiquette Flexibility Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) , and availability around most holidays is required. Pay starting at $13/hour.
