Job Description

The Phoenix Counseling Center is looking for a high-energy, dependable, and professional Administrative Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate must be an effective verbal and written communicator who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, organized, proactive, and able to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for our clients and staff. Candidate is encouraged to have experience with Microsoft Office products along with being comfortable placing and receiving multiple phone calls daily. Basic skills with Outlook, Word and Excel are necessary. The position requires the candidate to be on-site at our 33480 Liberty Pkwy, North Ridgeville, OH 44039 location. This is a full-time, Monday
  • Friday, position with an alternating weekly schedule: Week 1: 8:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM. Week 2: 10:30 AM
  • 7:00 PM.
Candidates must be available and willing to work both schedules as a regular requirement of the position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Scheduling client appointments and managing the calendars of multiple therapists; Answering and placing phone calls and assisting clients with scheduling needs; Verifying client insurance benefits with insurance companies; Greeting clients as they arrive for appointments; Collecting client payments; Entering client payment information into the appropriate billing system; Assisting with general office organization and upkeep/restocking; Communicating professionally with clients, clinicians, leadership, and other team members; and Completing administrative tasks independently while appropriately communicating questions or concerns to the team. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, works well with others, and can be trusted to manage their responsibilities independently.
