General Job Description:
Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for an AM receptionist who will serve as the Wellness & Community Outreach department's primary point of contact for students, employees, community partners and customers, by managing incoming calls, answering customer inquiries, identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. Microsoft Office 3 years office experience
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
Assist Community Outreach & Wellness Center with daily operations. Monitor the front desk, answer incoming calls and greet members as they enter the Wellness & Community Outreach Center. Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, by maintaining a neat, clean and safe environment. Keep Wellness Center members, informed about classes, events, and programs. Assist members with enrollment and registration Gather department data and input in department system Explain Metro Tech's policies and procedures to members. Educate participants on healthy lifestyle modifications and wellness. Monitor safety and security devices at community outreach/wellness location. Handle and solve member inquiries and concerns about services or equipment. Maintain Wellness Center equipment. Follows established procedures for receiving and verifying shipments of materials to the site. Performs related duties as assigned. Required Skills Organized, self-Starter with willingness to succeed. Excellent telephone etiquette, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to problem solve, think critically and work well with others. Reliable, dependable and punctual attendance. Proficient using Microsoft Office and Excel All other duties as assigned.
