Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Float Receptionist to join our team. As a Float Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations at multiple locations within our dermatology practice. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Schedule appointments and manage appointment calendars efficiently Collect patient information and verify insurance coverage Maintain electronic medical records accurately and securely Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages to appropriate staff Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care across locations Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality policies at all times
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Willingness to float between Clackamas and Troutdale locations as scheduled
