Job Description

Therapeutic Associates Myrtle Creek Physical Therapy is looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our team. Schedules are flexible, and students who are pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program are encouraged to apply. Being a part of the Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy family is an opportunity to make a positive impact in our communities while continuing to learn and grow within a challenging and gratifying profession. Learn more about how we support you: Continuing Education Package Continuing Education Stipend PTO specifically for continuing education Tuition Advancement program pre and post professional Employee Service Scholarship MedBridge Learning Subscription Benefits to help you thrive Interactive Wellness Program with rewards for balanced, healthy living and mental health Community and philanthropic support through individual grants and paid time off Generous PTO 6 paid holidays, 1 charitable giving day, and up to 2 personal holidays Medical with Vision & Prescription and Dental Insurance Teledoc Employee Assistance Plan 401(k) Profit-sharing program How you will make an impact Responsible for greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate staff Answers the phone and appropriately routes calls Schedules and confirms new and returning patient appointment(s) Minimizes cancellations and empty appointment slots Collects co-payments at time of service and collects patient insurance and privacy forms Compiles and records medical charts, reports and correspondence Educates patients about their insurance and how physical therapy treatment plans work Assists with physical therapy aide duties, when applicable Additional responsibilities as assigned by your leadership What you will need to bring to the table Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook Interest in Exercise Science, Sports Performance and Fitness preferred - students who are pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program are strongly preferred.
