Part Time Veterinary Receptionist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your passion for animal care and strong communication skills will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Handle incoming phone calls, providing information about services and addressing client inquiries. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed. Process medical collections and manage billing inquiries with professionalism. Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint during examinations or procedures when necessary. Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Educate pet owners on proper pet care, vaccination schedules, and clinic policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations. Requirements Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine love for animals. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic understanding of medical collection processes related to veterinary services is beneficial.
