Job Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments
- Obtaining accurate patient health insurance, demographics and referral information
- Collect necessary co-pays and patient financial responsibilities at the time of visit
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in phone systems and phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of office equipment and basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Note:
Experience as an Integrative Medicine Receptionist is a plus. Experience with Athena Health EMR system, and working in a medical office is highly desirable.
