Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and dependable Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and callers while helping maintain an organized and welcoming office environment. The role requires strong communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple phone lines efficiently in a part-time setting.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and provide a positive first impression by directing guests and responding to general front-desk inquiries.
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, routing each call to the appropriate department or team member in a timely manner.
- Handle a steady flow of inbound phone traffic while maintaining accuracy, courtesy, and a detail-oriented approach.
- Support day-to-day reception activities, including monitoring the front desk and assisting with basic administrative tasks as needed.
- Keep the reception area organized and presentable to ensure a detail-oriented environment for staff and visitors.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams to relay messages and ensure important information reaches the right contacts promptly.
- Prior experience in a receptionist or front-desk support role.
- Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or phone system with 1 to 10 lines.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented phone manner.
- Comfortable answering and directing inbound calls throughout the workday.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Availability to work on a part-time schedule.
