Job Description
Job Summary As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in triaging incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate pharmacy team members, and supporting the pharmacy team with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls appropriately Schedule and confirm patient appointments Verify insurance and prescription information Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Process prescription orders and assist with prescription pick-up Support pharmacists and technicians with general clerical duties Qualifications Previous experience in a medical, pharmacy, or call center setting (Required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Benefits Competitive pay Health and dental insurance options Paid time off and holidays Employee discounts Opportunities for training and career advancement
