You will help create a welcoming, professional environment while supporting the administrative and operational needs of the facility. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees upon arrival. Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries. Support facility security by monitoring visitor access, maintaining visitor logs, and issuing badges as needed. Perform administrative duties including filing, photocopying, faxing, and data entry. Accurately observe and document client behaviors and responses to interventions when required. Immediately report safety concerns, incidents, or significant changes in client status to supervisory staff. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies. Follow all Pennsylvania mandated reporter requirements. Maintain required certifications, clearances, and ongoing training. Adhere to facility safety protocols and building security procedures. Follow departmental policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Support the mission and values of Resources for Human Development. Demonstrate appropriate use of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum of one (1) year of office, receptionist, or administrative experience. Additional Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license required. Ability to work with computers and standard office software programs. Successful completion of required physical examination, TB screening, and drug testing. Successfully pass federal, state, and agency-required background clearances. Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including employment references and driving record reviews. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or a residential setting. Experience working with confidential information and multi-line phone systems.
Schedule Part-Time Position Saturdays:
6:00 AM to 10:30
AM Tuesdays:
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM PRN coverage for vacations, illness, and other absences of the full-time receptionist. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the workday. Ability to work in a secure, controlled-access facility environment. Ability to respond appropriately and professionally during emergency situations.
