Job Description
Afternoon / Relief Receptionist Part-Time Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is seeking an Afternoon/Relief Receptionist to join our Customer Service team! Are you personable and outgoing with great phone skills? Do you enjoy helping others and talking to new people every day? This part-time position is Monday to Friday from 1:00pm - 7:00pm, with potential for mornings or weekends as a relief.
Responsibilities:
Greet and direct residents, staff, and visitors, as needed. Answer phone calls promptly and politely. Check voicemail and email throughout shift and respond appropriately. Sort all internal mail, post and sort outgoing mail. Perform daily mail delivery to all buildings - will require walking both inside and outside, as needed. Performs cashier duties, including requests for petty cash, stamps, postage, batteries and other items. Coordinates internal room reservations for residents, team members, and visitors. Promptly directs urgent issues or emergencies to the appropriate department or staff person according to established guidelines. Coordinates fire, severe weather, and other emergency response efforts according to established guidelines. Closes each evening according to established guidelines.Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred At least 2 years of prior customer service experience preferred Ability to be walking and on your feet for a good part of the day, as needed for daily mail delivery to residents and staff..
