Overview Guthrie & Co., PC is professional office providing quality tax, assurance, and accounting services. We are seeking a detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team! This role combines front desk responsibilities with administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will create a welcoming environment while efficiently managing office tasks. Responsibilities Greet visitors warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and direct calls with professional phone etiquette Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling incoming and outgoing communication with clients Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring client communication is clear and courteous Responsible for maintaining appropriate office supplies and supporting professional staff Qualifications Office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills Familiarity with office management software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and data entry tools is a plus Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently and maintain excellent phone etiquette Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be first point of contact for clients Quick learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak season Ability to work evenings and Saturdays during Tax filing season (January-April) Ability to work as a team player as well as work independently Respect and maintain confidentiality of all clients
