Job Description
Overview We are a busy, customer-focused mobile veterinary clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and outstanding service to their owners. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you! Duties Schedule appointments, and manage the front desk with professionalism and efficiency Handle veterinary administrative support including patient records, billing, and insurance documentation using veterinary software Assist with medical collection procedures, ensuring accurate processing of payments and insurance claims Coordinate client communication regarding pet care instructions, follow-up appointments, and treatment plans Support veterinary staff with laboratory procedures and specimen handling. Requirements Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and companion animal medicine Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients Knowledge of drug enforcement regulations (DEA), USDA regulations, and veterinary critical care protocols is beneficial Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail We pride ourselves on creating a supportive workplace where every team member is valued.
