Children's Friend is looking for a Full-Time and a Part-Time Bilingual Receptionist to serve as the welcoming first point of contact for families, visitors, and staff at our agency. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting our programs by greeting clients, managing incoming calls, and helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for everyone who enters our building. What You'll Do:
Welcoming and assisting clients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate staff member or meeting Answering and routing incoming calls and assisting with appointment coordination or cancellations Maintaining sign-in sheets, reception logs, and activity calendars Following daily opening and closing procedures for the reception area Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail for pickup Providing administrative support to staff as needed Assisting with oral and written translation of documents, forms, and communication Preparing and typing memos, forms, flyers, and correspondence Operating office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, computers, and shredders Assisting with office supply inventory and distribution Providing cross-coverage at other Children's Friend locations when needed
What You Bring:
High School Diploma or GED Bilingual ability required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional and friendly telephone etiquette Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Reliable transportation and ability to work at various agency locations if needed Preferred Qualifications Experience in a reception, customer service, or administrative support role Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Comfort using standard office equipment and administrative systems Why Join Children's Friend?
