Job Description

The Torres Law Firm is a small immigration and criminal defense firm. We are seeking a part time receptionist/ administrative assistant who is fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken). Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, be clear communicators, have experience answering multiple phone lines, and have experience working in a legal or other professional environment. Candidates should also enjoy working with a diverse group of clients and will have contact with clients from all parts of the world. Job responsibilities include answering 3 phone lines, handling incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling appointments for attorneys, opening new files, filing documents (in electronic system and physical files), and maintain office supply inventory and order supplies when necessary. There are opportunities for candidates to learn more about the substantive legal work we do and begin training to take on additional legal assistant/ paralegal responsibilities at the firm.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
