Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in Charleston, South Carolina. This Contract position will serve as the first point of contact for guests and callers, helping create a welcoming and detail-oriented experience. The ideal candidate is organized, courteous, and confident managing visitor interactions and incoming phone communication with a high level of care.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon arrival, provide assistance as needed, and ensure a positive front desk experience.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and relay messages accurately.
- Guide visitors to the correct meeting rooms or departments while maintaining an orderly reception area.
- Present an experienced and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, vendors, and internal staff.
- Support general administrative front desk tasks that help maintain efficient daily office operations.
- Monitor visitor flow and respond to routine questions with care and clarity. Requirements
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a consistently courteous and pleasant phone presence.
- Ability to manage inbound telephone activity while maintaining accuracy and composure.
- Demonstrated skill in greeting, assisting, and directing visitors in an organized environment.
- Reliable organizational skills and attention to detail in handling daily reception duties.
- Positive demeanor with the ability to represent the office effectively at all times.
