Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an organized Administrative Assistant to effectively implement office procedures and provide essential support to ensure the efficient operations of our non-profit mental health organization. This person must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a strong client service focus.
JOB TYPE
In person/in office Part-time, 25-30 hours weekly
PAY AND BENEFITS TRANSPARENCY
This position is paid at an hourly rate of $16/hour (including employer observed holidays) Paid time off (after 90 days of employment) 401k (after six months of employment)
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree or higher or equivalent work experience. A minimum of two years of experience in an administrative support capacity. Experience in working with electronic medical records and HIPAA. Embrace the mission of EMERGE Family Therapy Center & Teaching Clinic. Strong interpersonal skills. Be organized and exhibit "follow through" on tasks and goals. Display a positive attitude, show concern for people and community, demonstrate presence, self- confidence, common sense, and good listening ability. Possess a high level of attention to detail and ability to work independently. Ability to adapt to administrative and clerical procedures and systems. Ability to multitask while maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality. Computer skills and experience (Microsoft and Adobe preferred).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome and assist clients as they arrive at their appointments in a friendly and professional manner. Answering and fielding of incoming and outgoing phone calls. Checking and monitoring of voicemails and voicemail system. Supporting organizational communications. Completing new client intakes. Assisting with client billing and client paperwork procedures. Maintaining professional office spaces. Demonstrate professional conduct at all times. Providing administrative support to MFT Graduate Practicum Students and
EMERGE PDI
Fellows (i.e. answering administrative questions and/or directing to appropriate supervisors). Report to EMERGE Operations Director (i.e. monthly meetings, reordering of office supplies, maintenance needs).
