In this role, you will oversee the preparation, review, and submission of construction bids, ensuring compliance with all procurement regulations and contractual requirements. You will also answer phones and the door, handle checks and subcontractor paperwork and relationships, and assist on a number of other items. Your expertise will drive the success of our bidding process by managing vendor relationships, coordinating documentation, and supporting strategic project initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects within a fast-paced environment that values innovation, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving. Responsibilities Manage vendor management processes by establishing strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of bid materials. Oversee document management systems to organize bid proposals, contracts, and related records efficiently and securely. Ensure compliance management by adhering to procurement regulations such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), UCC law, and government contracting standards. Conduct research on procurement regulatory updates and industry best practices to optimize bidding strategies. Utilize tools such as Public Plan Rooms, State of TN procurement sites, and Microsoft Office Suite for effective paperwork management and communication. Support change management initiatives related to procurement processes or contract modifications while maintaining accurate records. Assist in business development efforts by preparing strategic proposals and pricing models that align with organizational goals. Review technical documentation for accuracy and completeness; facilitate document review processes across teams. Experience Experience in the construction industry. Office administration work that requires organization and a teamwork environment. Knowledge and experience with Procurement offices through schools, government entities, etc. Excellent research skills combined with strategic planning capabilities to support proposal development and business growth efforts. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
