Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Office Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring efficient front office operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently. Verify patient insurance eligibility and update insurance information as needed. Confirm and schedule patient appointments. Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service. Maintain accurate patient records and demographic information. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions or direct them to the appropriate department. Respond to appointment requests, cancellations, and rescheduling. Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Assist with other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person!
