Experienced Veterinary Receptionist

Job Summary We are seeking an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing veterinary team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Your expertise will facilitate smooth clinic operations by managing appointments, handling pet and client inquiries, and supporting veterinary staff with administrative tasks. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience. Schedule appointments efficiently, managing the clinic's calendar to optimize veterinarian availability. Collect payments and perform medical billing and collection processes accurately. Maintain client records. Rarely - assist with animal handling tasks such as kennel management, animal restraint, and basic animal husbandry to support veterinary procedures. Support laboratory procedures by packaging samples and recording results. Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary staff regarding pet care instructions, follow-up appointments, and treatment plans Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, data entry, and filing records with attention to detail. Experience Proven experience as a veterinary receptionist, preference to management experience. Familiarity with veterinary terminology, laboratory procedures, and medical collection techniques. Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
