Job Description

We are a well-established medical practice with locations in Austin, Cedar Park and Round Rock. Our team is seeking a front desk associate that thrives in a fast-paced environment. The location is in Cedar Park. You must have reliable transportation. The front desk associate is the face of our practice. As the first impression, you set the stage for the best patient experience. A cheerful and welcoming disposition is a MUST. Accuracy, timeliness and ownership mentality are expected. We are looking for a FULL-time employee , 40-hours of the week.
Responsibilities:
Checking patients in and out Collection of copays, deductibles, coinsurance and balances Experience and understanding of patient insurance including how to explain an EOB to a patient and in and out of network benefits Accurate input and data entry of patient information (demographics and insurance information) Experience with EMR/EHR (ModMed preferred but not required) Customer service - helping our patients have the best possible experience Scheduling follow-up appointments Answering a multi-line phone system Basic administrative skills: faxing, copying, scanning, filing and mail sorting Greeting patients
