As a Patient Access Representative (Front Desk), you will be responsible for signing patients in, obtaining all paperwork, verifying insurance eligibility and copay information, collecting payment, and assisting patients with billing questions.
Responsibilities:
Obtain HIPAA and HIPAA Consent forms and able to assist patients/parents with any questions pertaining to HIPAA Verify insurance, private and Medicaid, for eligibility and copay information Collect copays and account balances, and accurately dictate your money intake Transcribe patient information into DocuTap with accuracy Maintain a clean and presentable waiting room and front desk area Scan reports into patient files Answering patient/parent questions in person and on the phone Clinic location What we can and cannot see In- and out-of-network insurances accepted Copay, EOB, deductibles Complete daily cleaning duties Additional comparable duties may be required that are within the employee's capacity
Requirements:
