We are seeking a receptionist/bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch services to pets and people. You need to at least sort of like people but really love dogs. We have a fun non-corporate, laid back environment and are an open grooming concept, focused on giving excellent customer service. Your role would be to help run the day to day of the store/shop, support groomers, and depending on your experience, take your own bathing dogs for extra tips. •Please do not apply if you have zero experience with dogs, as in you don't even have any dogs at home.•Responsibilities Answer phone calls and schedule clients as needed Check in and out clients Assist the groomers with bathing Bathe your own scheduled dogs Trim pets' nails and clean their ears Ensure the safety and well-being of pets Communicate effectively with pet owners Previous experience with dogs is a must. Maybe you haven't worked in a dog environment, but you need to at least have your own dogs that you've handled Maintain a clean area Handle and restrain animals in a gentle and compassionate manner This role can be flexible with hours. Full or part time is avaiable We pride ourselves on exceptional customer care The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience Knowledge of handling dogs Ability to lift heavy pets and equipment when necessary Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively Experience in animal care, handling, restraint, or veterinary assistance is a plus Ability to take direction from others and to work independently or as a team Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance Working around major holidays is a must as this is a peak time. We do close down on the major holidays and the days before and after. Benefits Flexible time off Starting pay is $13/hour but will pay more based on experience Health insurance is available to full time after 3 months Guaranteed hours available Extra opportunities for tips. If you can clip dogs' nails and bathe your own dogs, you'll get 100% of those tips in addition to your hourly. Monthly chiropractor visits
