JOB DESCRIPTION
Lobby Receptionist Summary/Objective The Lobby Receptionist will facilitate positive contact and communications between customers and bank staff and perform administrative duties for the branch.Essential Functions:
Greets and welcomes all customers and directs them to the appropriate bank staff. Notifies bank staff when a customer is requesting to see them. Oversees and maintains the lobby area, keeping it clean and organized. Answers customers' questions and provides general information on banking services and policies. Answers incoming calls, transfers calls and takes messages when necessary. Follows up on minor customer issues. Processes and distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail for pickup. Learn HomeTown Bank's Policy and Procedures. Performs clerical and administrative services for branch staff as needed. Be familiar with all products and services. Responsible for following the Code of Ethics and for reporting any violations. All other duties as assigned. Must be able to follow procedures to create a seamless customer experience. Must demonstrate a working knowledge of computer use. Must maintain composure and professionalism in stressful situations. Must be detail oriented and thorough so that required tasks have minimal errors. Must have effective written and oral communication skills.Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment:
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, calculators, typewriters, and scanners.Physical Demands:
This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping, standing, and sitting as necessary. This position requires lifting and moving packages and/or boxes.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position, scheduled at no more than 30 hours per week. Must work Saturday rotation.Classification:
Non-Exempt Travel:
Travel for this position is normally minimal. However, temporary placement at other locations may occur due to meetings, vacations, illnesses, or staff shortages. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Customer service experience. Working in a professional clerical environment for 1 year.
