The ideal candidate will be welcoming, organized, dependable, and able to provide exceptional service to clients, prospective clients, attorneys, and staff. This is an important role within our firm and an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a close-knit, team-oriented work environment. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner Welcome and assist clients, prospective clients, and other visitors to the office Schedule appointments for attorneys and paralegals and maintain accurate, up-to-date calendars Assist prospective clients with intake paperwork and the initial intake process Enter and maintain information accurately in firm systems Assist with general office and administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, scanning, mailing, and preparation of paperwork Maintain an organized and professional reception area Provide administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and other staff as needed Handle confidential client and firm information with discretion and professionalism Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the office Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, secretary, or similar position Excellent verbal and written communication skills A friendly, professional, and personable demeanor Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail The ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain composed in a busy office environment Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software and systems A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment when handling sensitive information A positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed Our Work Environment We pride ourselves on maintaining a professional yet welcoming, family-oriented work environment .
