This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with back-office administrative support, ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient service. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and possess a strong understanding of medical administrative procedures, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and healthcare compliance standards. Spanish is a must before applying, Duties Greet patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and a welcoming attitude, managing all front desk interactions efficiently. Schedule patient appointments using clinic management software, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily operations. Handle phone communication with patients and providers using proper phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages. Maintain medical records filing systems, ensuring confidentiality of clinical information in accordance with HIPAA policies. Assist with clinical administrative tasks such as care plan documentation, medical scheduling, and preparing reports for clinical review. Perform general clerical duties including data entry (10 key typing), photocopying, faxing, and managing office supplies to support daily clinic operations.

Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with strong clerical skills. Ability to review clinical documentation accurately while adhering to confidentiality policies under HIPAA guidelines. Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and office management software. Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Attention to detail in documentation review and accuracy in data entry are essential for success in this role.
