Job Description
We are searching for a new team member to join us at our Showroom. The candidate will be responsible for a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations in an office setting, which include, but are not limited to: Answering phone calls and scheduling customers daily, answering emails, sorting mail, filing, writing memos and setting reminders, monitoring office supplies and re-ordering when needed. They will also be required to create and keep track of invoices, respond to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner, as well as keeping the office clean, safe, and organized which includes their own workstation. The candidate will also be required to greet office visitors and direct them to the corresponding team member. While the candidate is not required to have any roofing knowledge prior to entering this role, they must be willing to learn roofing information from their team members to better assist customers and to perform their duties at full capacity. Once they learn the roofing material, they will be able to answer customer questions, and will also be expected to show customers around the showroom and assist them. While prior roofing knowledge is not a requirement, the candidate must be proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, etc., as they will be using them often. Aside from these, although they will be taught by our team, the candidate will use other online programs daily to schedule customers, therefore they must feel comfortable using computers. The candidate must also feel comfortable interacting with customers on the phone as well as in person due to the nature of the job. The candidate must have at least a high school diploma. The candidate must be able to commute to and from work reliably and punctually. Bilingual candidates are preferred, but not required. Experience in customer service is preferred. Rose Roofing uniform may be provided.
