Paid time off 401(k) matching Benefits/Perks Competitive Hourly Pay Career Growth Opportunities Fun and Energetic Environment Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, welcoming, energetic, child-friendly, self-motivated receptionist to manage our front desk at Panda Pediatrics Responsibilities Greet all patients and families with a warm smile. Verify insurance prior to patient appointments. Check patients in and out. Be able to communicate to parents about co-pays and other feeds due at time of service. Schedule patient appointments according to guidelines. Multitask multiple phone lines. Scan new patient charts and consultation notes into EMR software. Keep waiting rooms organized and clean. Manage office workflow/schedule. Balance charges and receipts at the end of each day. Computer skills include Microsoft Word and Excel. Collect co-pays and outstanding patient balances. Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services Qualifications One year of customer service experience is preferred Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred Bilingual English-Spanish required. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service Strong work ethic and positive attitude Familiar with computers and scheduling software Excellent multi-tasking skills
