The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient service while efficiently managing scheduling, communication, insurance, and front-office responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide an exceptional first impression. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient questions professionally. Schedule and confirm patient appointments in correspondance of our scheduling coordinator. Manage cancellations, rescheduling, and appointment openings. Assist in maintaining an organized and productive provider schedule. Check patients in and out efficiently with all paperwork and collections. Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Collect copayments, estimated patient portions, and outstanding balances. Review financial arrangements and payment options with patients. Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims. Monitor outstanding insurance claims and assist with resolving claim issues. Contact patients regarding unscheduled treatment and overdue appointments. Follow up with new-patient inquiries and convert inquiries into scheduled appointments. Maintain accurate patient records and document patient communications. Send appointment reminders and follow-up communications. Coordinate referrals, records, and other required documentation. Participate in daily morning huddles and communicate schedule changes with the clinical team. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and office policies. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming reception area. Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive patient experience. Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, dental assistants, and management. Perform other front-office duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate Previous dental office experience preferred. Strong knowledge of dental insurance terminology, and function. Strong customer service and communication skills. Professional, friendly, and compassionate personality. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable discussing insurance and patient financial responsibilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office. Strong computer and administrative skills. Experience with dental practice-management software preferred. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to maintain professionalism when handling difficult or sensitive patient situations. Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
