OFFICE RECEPTIONIST
Min of 1 yr experience in Dental or Medical Office-Insurance verification and appointment setting. Experience with Dentrix Dental Software is a plus.
Availability:
Mon-Fri:
9:00AM - 6:00PM.
Minimum starting pay:
$13/hr Job description: Answer and return all phone calls and emails. Welcome patients, hand them appropriate paperwork and mark them ready to be seen. Conduct all insurance verifications and make provider changes after patients confirm their appointments. Schedule all new and recall appointments. Send all pre-authorizations as early as the next day or the same day in case of an emergency. Review schedule and make calls to ensure daily schedule is adequate according to established guidelines. Send all claims (electronic & manual) at the end of the day. Work on billing at the end of the week. Review the following weeks schedule as well as all pending pre-authorizations daily to ensure a plan is in place to address gaps and re-submissions.
