Responsibilities Care for animals by feeding, cleaning, administering medications, and monitoring their health and behavior Handle pet restraint and dog handling to ensure safety during grooming, medical procedures, or boarding Maintain cleanliness of kennels, treatment areas, and pet boarding facilities through sanitization and routine cleaning Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and managing check-ins/check-outs Support pet sitting and pet boarding services by monitoring pets' well-being during their stay Assist with outdoor work activities including exercise play time, yard cleanup, and ensuring secure kennel environments Skills Pet sitting or pet boarding experience demonstrates reliability in caring for animals of various temperaments Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior helps in managing different pets effectively Strong animal handling skills including animal restraint and understanding animal behavior patterns Ability to perform heavy lifting safely less than 50lbs when handling supplies or assisting with outdoor activities Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Experience with pet grooming, sanitation protocols, and animal care procedures ensures high standards of cleanliness and safety is a Plus.
