Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Check-in patients and verify their personal and insurance information
- Collect co-pays and payments for services rendered
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations of the front desk area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
- Proficient in computer literacy, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred but not required We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
