Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Receptionist to join our team and serve as the welcoming face of our organization. This vital role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills to create a positive first impression for visitors and callers alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting daily operations with professionalism and enthusiasm. This is a part-time position. We need someone in the late afternoons and early evenings. Hours are variable and will run 10-25 hours per week. Prefer some Saturday afternoon availability. Responsibilities Greet visitors, clients, and vendors warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly. Manage phone systems efficiently, directing calls accurately and courteously. Handle all front desk duties including checking in visitors, managing appointments, and maintaining visitor logs. Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to support administrative functions. Utilize office management software such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Jane software for record-keeping and correspondence. Maintain a tidy reception area, organize office supplies, and ensure all office equipment is functioning properly. Switch laundry and help keep treatment rooms tidy and organized. Learn insurance billing and data entry to bill patient visits Requirements Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or customer service roles. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry skills. Excellent phone etiquette Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively. Previous experience in medical or dental receptionist roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific duties.
