Full Time Position Overview As a Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, vendors, and employees, creating a professional and welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of the office. You will provide administrative support, coordinate office activities, and help ensure efficient workplace operations. At Kiewit, our operations support professionals are vital to keeping our projects and teams connected and productive. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. District Overview Kiewit Southwest District specializes in heavy civil, transportation and water projects. We operate primarily in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada and Utah. Southwest's projects include a wide range of infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, runways, terminals, transit systems, power plants, water treatment facilities, dams, canals, wastewater treatment plants and tunnels. Location This position will be located near Ogden or Layton, Utah. Responsibilities Welcome and assist visitors, clients, vendors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries. Coordinate outgoing mail and shipping activities. Maintain office contact lists, phone directories, seating charts, and distribution lists. Schedule conference rooms and assist with meeting logistics, including room setup, catering, and cleanup. Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and reservations as needed. Maintain calendars and scheduling requests for office personnel. Perform data entry and maintain office records, logs, and reports. Order office supplies and monitor inventory levels. Submit and track building maintenance and service requests. Support onboarding activities and assist with administrative documentation. Provide general administrative support to office leadership and project teams. Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of receptionist, customer service, administrative, or office support experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision. Professional demeanor with exceptional customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting construction, engineering, industrial, or professional services environments. Experience with travel coordination, meeting planning, and office administration. Familiarity with Point or other document management systems.
