Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary practice. This role requires a blend of administrative skills and a passion for animal care, ensuring that both pets and their owners feel welcomed and supported during their visits. Duties Greet clients and pets warmly to create a welcoming environment. Schedule appointments, manage the calendar, and confirm upcoming visits. Handle calls, and answer inquiries. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records. Process payments and handle billing questions efficiently. Use veterinary terminology to communicate pet needs clearly. Keep the front desk clean and organized for a professional appearance. Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth workflow. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: Office reception and administration. Knowledge of veterinary terminology is a plus. 2-3 professional references are required.

From $12.77 per hour
