Job Description

Job Summary The Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position involves overseeing administrative functions, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of dental office procedures, contributing to an efficient and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. Duties Manage daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Supervise and train administrative staff, including dental receptionists, to maintain excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards. Oversee appointment scheduling, patient records management, and billing processes using dental software such as Epic, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks. Ensure compliance with health information management regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records. Coordinate with dental professionals to optimize patient flow and enhance overall office efficiency. Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience. Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Implement office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Skills Must have experience in a dental office. Strong administrative skills with experience in a dental office setting preferred. Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health information management practices to ensure compliance with regulations. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving common goals. Strong organizational skills to manage office operations efficiently.
