Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, effective interpersonal and organizational skills, flexibility, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a professional team. This is a long term substitute role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide school support services such as answering incoming calls and responding to parent requests via phone, email, etc. Arrange coverage for staff absences and coordinate substitutes. Greet, assist, and announce school visitors. Process daily communications from faculty and parents. Maintain supplies, fill orders, and monitor inventory of office supplies. Perform routine clerical responsibilities. Distribute mail to staff and meter out-going mail, as well as manage and direct package deliveries. Serve as the copy specialist for the school office. Serve as a backup to the school nurse by treating children sent to the office who are sick or injured. Perform other duties as assigned by school leadership. Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to Catholic education, superior communication skills both written and spoken, superior interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility, and are hardworking, collaborative team players.
