Member & Guest Services - Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a responsible, courteous, and reliable team player with an outgoing and social personality to provide support to the Weinstein JCC Membership front desk staff. under the supervision of the membership Associate manager as well as the Membership Operations Manager, the Member and Guest Services Front Desk Associate is primarily responsible for delivering the highest quality of customer service to all members and guests at the Weinstein JCC. This position is the first point of contact to all members and guests and requires being responsive to members' needs while possessing extensive knowledge of the Weinstein JCC. This person is responsible for being fully knowledgeable about the Center and its programs/services, delivering the highest level of service to our members and potential members/guests with professionalism and ensuring that we adhere to the values and missions of the Weinstein JCC.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide essential customer service to ensure member statisfaction and member appreciation. This includes greeting guests and members at the main entrance upon arrival and departure from the building. Consistently offer the highest level of personalized member service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude. Ensure members scan their member cards and all guests follow appropriate check-in procedures. Proactively and accurately respond to member needs. Assist members with program inquiries, sales, and event information. Aid JCC Membership in acquiring new members and retaining existing members. Conducting point of sale transactions, receiving payments, and issuing receipts. Learn and promote Weinstein JCC programs and services such as camps, swim lessons, special events, and personal training. Must be consistent and reliable. Communicate member concerns to the appropriate supervisors. Maintain organization of front desk supplies and paperwork. Participate in departmental and agency training and staff meetings as required. Maintain and enforce agency policies and procedures. Always meet all Weinstein JCC standards for professionalism in conduct and appearance. Perform other duties as required or directed by Member and Guest Service team. Assist members and guests with the check-in process, ask the necessary questions before allowing them to enter the facility. Customer centered attitude, strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent: college degree (perferred). At least 2 years experience working in customer service, sales oriented or hospitality position (preferred). Possess exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to think critically. Effectively be able to multitask, operating both computer and phone simultaneously. Display interest in learning new processes and skills. Proficient with computer (email, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and Google forms).

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
