About Us Dogwood Dermatology is a new, independent dermatology practice opening in Staunton, VA, serving patients throughout the Shenandoah Valley. We're building a patient-focused, energetic, and caring team from the ground up and looking for a front desk staff member to join us as a founding member of the practice Duties include: Patient check in/out Preparing fee sheets, collecting payments Answering phone calls Scheduling and appointment confirmation Reviewing incoming patient communications/questions, incoming faxes and other correspondence Responding to simple questions and delegating complex questions to senior staff Submission of prior authorization paperwork for certain medications Corresponding with referring physicians, scanning and routing correspondence and medical records, and other general clinical admin duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

Dermatology experience is beneficial Willingness to be cross-trained to assist with clinical, lab, and administrative tasks Experience with ModMed EMR is beneficial

Pay:

From $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
