Front Desk Receptionist - Health Check Urgent Care Job Summary Health Check Urgent Care is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while managing front office operations in a fast-paced urgent care environment. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, enjoys helping people, and can multitask efficiently.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient check-in and check-out.
  • Collect copayments and process payments accurately.
  • Answer multi-line phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Scan and upload patient documents into the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, faxing, and maintaining office supplies.
Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong computer literacy with technical proficiency in office management systems and data entry applications
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills with clear phone communication and professional phone etiquette
  • Previous customer service, receptionist, or medical office experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
  • Experience with Experity or other EMR software is not required, we provide comprehensive on the job training.
Schedule:
Full-time or Part-time positions available. Must be available to work urgent care hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Flexible scheduling based on clinic needs.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
