We are a supportive, customer focused practice with the goal to provide exceptional care to our feline patients while going above and beyond to address the needs of our clients in a calm, relaxed, family atmosphere.

This role as the Lead Receptionist will require some Administrative Assistant duties. At least 3+ years of experience working at a veterinary hospital is required. Prior extensive experience as a veterinary receptionist is most desired. This position has the potential for expansion to a supervisory role within the practice for the right person. Duties may include but are not limited to: Scheduling Appointments Handling client financial transactions Interacting with clients, vendors, & other veterinary personnel on the phone and in person Obtaining medical information from clients and other veterinary facilities Maintaining and updating medical records appropriately Preparing reports to add to patient charts Contacting clients for patient refills for meds, etc. Assisting with inventory, facility management and other administrative tasks Interested Applicants should have the following

Enjoy working with and talking to the public Have a warm, friendly, professional demeanor Operate with integrity Compassionate and understanding towards both the pets and the people attached to them Team player and eager to assist others Have attention to detail and be able to multi-task effectively Have an expanded knowledge base of veterinary medicine Able to triage patients appropriately Able to communicate effectively to others both in person and over the phone Demonstrate excellent writing skills Demonstrate strong Computer skills and comfortable with changes in technology Be able to handle cats safely if needed to assist with patient care
