We are currently seeking a front desk coordinator to join our team, contributing significantly to the success of our organization. Responsibilities:
Greeting and Check-In :
Warmly welcoming patients, verifying their information, and checking them in for appointments.
Appointment Scheduling :
Managing appointment calendars, scheduling patient visits, and arranging follow-up appointments.
Handling Phone Calls :
Answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and routing calls to the appropriate staff members.
Patient Registration :
Collecting and entering patient demographic and insurance information accurately into the system.
Insurance Verification :
Verifying patient insurance coverage, explaining insurance details to patients, and collecting copays or outstanding balances.
Medical Records Maintenance :
Ensuring proper documentation and organization of patient records, including filing, scanning, and updating information as needed.
Administrative Suppor t:
Assisting with administrative tasks such as maintaining office supplies, handling mail, and supporting other staff as required.
Patient Assistance :
Providing information, directions, and support to patients and their families during their visit.
Adherence to Policie s:
Adhering to privacy regulations (like HIPAA), office protocols, and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
Collaboration :
Communicating effectively with medical staff, nurses, and providers to ensure smooth patient flow and office operations.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
