Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer multi-line phones, screen calls, and relay messages quickly to clinical staff, nurses, and administration to minimize disruptions on the floor. Greet, screen, and direct visitors, vendors, and family members. Monitor guest sign-in/sign-out logs for facility security and infection control Process incoming and outgoing mail, manage courier deliveries, and maintain office equipment like fax machines. Provide clerical support such as data entry, filing, and typing as assigned. Act as the liaison for different departments, ensuring that inquiries about resident care, billing, or admissions are routed to the correct parties. Strictly comply with HIPAA regulations, maintaining confidentiality regarding all resident medical and personal information.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to organize, plan and work autonomously Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, familes, community members, volunteers and other facility staff Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about working with long-term care residents and the elderly Caldera Cares for you!
