An outgoing, friendly, and detail orientated person with great customer service skills is who we are looking for. Someone in this position would work closely with the doctor on duty to help meet all the patient's needs and help maintain excellent patient flow from check in to check out. We are looking to find a team player who works well closely with their fellow staff and who puts the patients first and foremost. An ideal candidate would be a quick learner who can pick up multiple technologies quickly and someone who takes initiative, stepping in to help before being asked to. The ability to both work as a member of a team and on your own is needed. Someone who is familiar with medical terminology is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Wage starting at $18.00 D.O.E.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
Documenting patient records Ensure that the doctors are kept on time with seeing their patients Conducting necessary pretesting, as recommended by the doctor Maintain proper patient flow throughout the office Offering contact lens training to patients who are new wearers Assisting with front desk tasks Taking payments Answering phones Scheduling appointments Upkeep of supply inventory Other responsibilities as assigned by doctor and/or office manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication and organizations skills An attention to detail Familiar with computers and equipment a plus, but not a requirement Familiar with medical terminology is a plus, but not a requirement Friendly personality Team player Takes direction well

1 year (Preferred)
Optometry:
1 year (Preferred)
Customer Service:
1 year (Preferred) Office hours: Monday-Friday 8:45-5:00•
Work Location:
Primarily one location. The ability to float to our nearby locations is preferred and may be required on occasion.
