Join Our Brand-New, Family-Owned Veterinary Hospital in Belfair! Are you passionate about helping pets and the people who love them? We're looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and organized Veterinary Receptionist to become one of the founding members of our team at Belfair Animal Clinic —a brand-new, DVM-owned and family-owned veterinary practice opening in Belfair, Washington. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a positive clinic culture from the ground up while making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families every day. What You'll Do As the first friendly face our clients see, you'll play an essential role in creating an exceptional experience for every pet and owner who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities include:
Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Schedule appointments, answer phones, respond to client questions, and coordinate daily appointments. Manage patient records, invoicing, and billing using veterinary practice software. Process payments and maintain accurate financial records. Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Assist the veterinary team with patient check-ins and general clinic support. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and hospital environment. Support administrative tasks as needed. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience with veterinary software is a plus. Knowledge of veterinary terminology Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs and cats. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Why Join Belfair Animal Clinic? $23.21 - $27.95 per hour
