Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic acupuncturist team in Bellevue. This isn't a phones-and-smiles role — we need someone who runs the front of the clinic like it's theirs: catching what needs attention before it becomes a problem, and following through until it's actually done. Who we're looking for You might be a strong match if you: Proven experience in front desk or receptionist roles within an medical office environment is preferred Stay on top of details and loose ends without being reminded Move fast without letting accuracy slip Work well with clear systems, but also know when to use judgment Can juggle a ringing phone, a full waiting room, and paperwork at the same time Spot issues early instead of waiting for someone else to catch them Can hold a policy line with patients firmly but kindly Keep your workspace and your task list under control, even on chaotic days Communicate clearly and professionally, in person and on the phone Work well on a team, but don't need hand-holding to get through the day What the role covers: Greeting patients and managing check-in / check-out Answering calls and routing them appropriately Building and adjusting the appointment schedule Fielding patient messages and passing clinical questions to the right practitioner Verifying patient insurance coverage and benefits ahead of appointments Handling day-to-day billing work — submitting claims, posting payments, and answering patient billing questions Collecting payments and explaining clinic policies clearly Reviewing the schedule ahead of time to head off potential conflicts Keeping patient demographic and insurance records accurate and current Working within our EHR and patient portal systems Staying in sync with practitioners and the rest of the admin team Owning your task list — finishing what's assigned, on time, without needing a nudge Helping keep the front office running smoothly and professionally Chasing down open items rather than letting them sit Qualifications Proven experience in front desk or receptionist roles within an medical office environment is preferred Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively (English and Chinese) Demonstrated customer service expertise with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette Familiarity with office management procedures such as filing systems, calendar management, and bookkeeping (QuickBooks preferred) Clerical experience including proofreading, typing accuracy, and document organization Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with excellent time management skills Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to creating a welcoming environment while supporting our daily operations. Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
