Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist and become the welcoming face of our animal care facility! This energetic role combines exceptional customer service with vital administrative support, ensuring smooth operations and happy pet owners. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, providing friendly assistance while coordinating appointments, managing medical records, and supporting veterinary staff. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive environment where animals and their owners feel cared for and confident in our services. Duties Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage check-in/check-out procedures with efficiency and professionalism Handle billing and pet payment collections accurately and securely Maintain detailed patient records, update veterinary charts Assist with animal handling tasks such as kennel management, pet grooming coordination, and basic animal restraint when needed Support veterinary staff with laboratory sample processing, medication inventory management, and aseptic techniques during procedures Communicate clearly with pet owners about treatment plans, post-visit instructions, and upcoming appointments Manage phone inquiries promptly, directing calls to appropriate team members and providing essential information to clients Requirements Previous experience in veterinary or animal care settings is highly desirable. Previous customer service experience would be ideal. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and appointment scheduling Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Our mission statement and Core values are listed below.
