Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients. This role is essential to keeping our practice running smoothly and ensuring a positive experience for every visitor. Key Responsibilities- Greet clients and patients warmly, in person and by phone
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
- Check clients in and out; process payments accurately
- Maintain client and patient records in the practice management system
- Handle multi-line phones, emails, and prescription requests
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technicians
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
- Provide compassionate support to clients during stressful or emotional situations Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred
- Veterinary or medical office experience a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning new software
