Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and welcoming Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in Kirkland, WA. This is a Contract position suited for someone who enjoys creating a positive first impression, managing communications efficiently, and keeping administrative tasks organized. The ideal candidate is attentive, service-oriented, and comfortable handling a fast-paced office environment with accuracy and care.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors, employees, and guests while maintaining a courteous and organized front desk presence.
- Manage a multi-line phone system by directing incoming calls promptly and taking accurate messages when needed.
- Receive and respond to inbound inquiries with clear communication and a strong customer service approach.
- Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail to support smooth daily office operations.
- Organize physical and digital records through filing and document scanning to maintain accessible and accurate information.
- Provide administrative support for routine office tasks, helping teams stay coordinated and efficient.
- Monitor the reception area to ensure it remains orderly, presentable, and ready for visitors throughout the day. Requirements
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
- Ability to operate a multi-line phone system and manage high-volume inbound calls professionally.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and dependable demeanor.
- Proficiency in filing, scanning, and maintaining organized office records.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and remain composed in a busy environment.
- Comfortable using standard office equipment and general administrative tools.
