Opportunity:

A leading wealth management organization is seeking a professional and dependable Contract Receptionist to support its Seattle office during a short-term assignment. This is a highly visible front-office position responsible for creating a welcoming, organized, and professional experience for employees, partners, associates, and visitors. The receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for the office and will be responsible for opening the office each morning. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of administrative or receptionist experience who is polished, dependable, organized, and comfortable working with a variety of personalities.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the Seattle office. Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate individual. Open and close the office each day. Welcome visitors and maintain a professional reception area. Maintain daily logs of meetings, visitors, and individuals entering and leaving the office using Excel. Accept and coordinate conference room meeting requests. Ensure conference rooms are clean, organized, and appropriately stocked. Schedule office space for internal employees traveling into the Seattle office. Support office space scheduling for Partners, Associates, and employees utilizing flex spaces. Distribute and meter incoming and outgoing mail. Create shipping labels and assist with shipping needs. Manage Amazon and other office supply orders. Maintain the office kitchen and snack bar, including daily stocking and dishwasher duties. Water office plants on Fridays. Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed. Maintain a polished, organized, and professional office environment.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of prior receptionist, administrative, or front-office experience required. Professional and polished demeanor. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with different personalities and levels of an organization. Highly dependable and punctual. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of daily office responsibilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills. High attention to detail. Ability to work 100% onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a financial services environment.

Additional Details:

100% onsite in downtown Seattle. Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Business professional dress code. The selected candidate will begin September 2 for onboarding, shadowing, and cross-training before the primary assignment begins. Assignment is currently scheduled for September 8-September 18. Interview process may consist of a brief phone conversation, with potential for a direct start. State, county, and federal background check required. No drug screen required.
